Key points

  • Customers can pay with BTC, ETH, SOL, TRX, BNB, LTC, DOGE or XRP from any wallet.
  • The coin is converted on the way in, so you always receive the exact amount in USDT or USDC.
  • The customer sees one price in their coin, locked for a set time; any conversion cost is on their side.
  • If a conversion can't complete, the customer is refunded to the address they gave.

How it works

On the checkout, a customer who doesn't hold stablecoins picks Pay with another coin. Wolf Pay asks a conversion service (NEAR Intents) for a quote that delivers exactly the stablecoin amount due, and shows the customer how much BTC, ETH or SOL to send, to a one-time address, before a deadline.

When their coin arrives, it is swapped and the stablecoins are delivered straight to the payment. The payment is marked paid like any other, and the webhook includes which coin the customer used.

Why not just accept Bitcoin directly?

Because then you hold Bitcoin. A $500 order paid in BTC might be worth $480 by the time you sell. Converting on the way in means your books stay in dollars.
