Why accept USDC on Arbitrum
Arbitrum One is one of the largest Ethereum layer-2 networks. Circle issues USDC on it natively, so customers active in DeFi on Arbitrum can pay without bridging back to Ethereum.
USDC is a dollar stablecoin issued by Circle, a US company that publishes regular reports on the reserves backing it. Businesses and institutions often prefer it for that transparency, and it is issued natively on many networks, so customers can usually send it from wherever they hold it.
Good fit for:
- Customers already holding funds on Arbitrum
- Low-cost USDC payments
- Crypto-native audiences
How it works with Wolf Pay
- Create a payment in your dashboard, with a payment link, or from your server with the API, choosing USDC on Arbitrum.
- Your customer pays on a hosted checkout that shows the exact amount, the Arbitrum deposit address, a QR code and the network in large type, so they send the right coin on the right network.
- You get paid. Once the transfer has 40 confirmations (under a minute), the payment is marked paid, your webhook fires, and the amount (minus Wolf Pay's fee) is in your USDC balance, ready to pay out to your own wallet.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Wolf Pay accepts native USDC on Arbitrum. The older bridged token (USDC.e) is a different token and isn't accepted.
- The address looks like an Ethereum one; the network chosen in the wallet must be Arbitrum.
- The amount has to be sent in full: if a customer's exchange deducts its withdrawal fee from the amount, the payment arrives short and is marked underpaid, with the difference shown.
- Only send USDC to a USDC payment. Other tokens sent to the address aren't credited to the payment.
